Managing directors Jochen Kusch and Dr. Joachim Hey worked together even before SICAT was founded. Both were engineers at Siemens at the time. There they were responsible for the development and marketing of the world’s first 3D C-arm for navigated trauma and spinal surgery. Together they developed the business idea for SICAT: 3D solutions for the dental industry.

Our business idea originated in medicine. Our goal was to use 3D imaging techniques to plan surgical procedures in the oral and maxillo-facial area safely and to make them even more predictable with the help of surgical guides. Today SICAT stands for innovation and lives innovation.
